Hospitality & Athlete/Coach/Judge Check-in: The Oakland Marriott City Center is graciously opening their premier room on the hotel's top floor to comfortably wait until your room is ready. Be sure to come by for a beverage, then relax and enjoy the view! Athletes, coaches, & judges: please stop in to pick up your credentials.

·     10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. - A. J. Toppers on the top floor of the Oakland
      Marriott City Center (21st floor). Families welcome!


·     5:00-8:00 p.m. - Training Session for Elite/Collegiate/Foreign/Optional
      gymnasts only (Warm-up Gym)




NOTE: All J.O. sessions will consist of 2 flights. We will have two (2) panels of judges per event -- that's 4 judges per event for Levels 7-10 and 2 judges per event for Levels 4-6.

J.O. Modified FIG Scoring will be used for Levels 8, 9 & 10. This is still in compliance with USA Gymnastics requirements for the 2009 Qualifier to the Visa Championships.

·    Session 1: Level 9 (12-13) and Level 9 (14+)
- Region 1 has added a
     NEW Level 9 Age Group!

           7:30 a.m. - Open Warm-up
           8:00 a.m. - March-in
          11:30 a.m. - Awards

·    Session 2: Level 10 (14-15 and 16-18) - Individual Qualifier to Session 5
         How to qualify to Session 5.

         11:30 p.m. - Open Warm-up
         12:00 p.m. - March-in
           4:45 p.m. - Awards


·    Session 3: Level 10 (14-15 and 16-18) - Individual Qualifier to Session 5
         How to qualify to Session 5.

           4:45 p.m. - Open Warm-up
           5:15 p.m. - March-in
           9:45 p.m. - Awards (Qualifiers announced)

*Top Level 10's for the All-Around and Individual Events will advance to Session 5 on Saturday afternoon, February 21 and compete in the Elite session.

·    Training Session for Elite/Collegiate gymnasts
         On Equipment: 9:00 p.m. approx. (Warm-up Gym)
         Stretching: Open All Day (Warm-up Gym - Extension)

- This session will be conducted      using NCAA Rules and NCAA judging rules. NCAA Modified FIG and JO
     Modified FIG are slightly different by comparison.

         12:45 p.m. - March-in
           4:30 p.m. - Awards

          4:30 p.m. - "$10K Putting Shootout!"
         Finalist Shoots to Sink a Hole-in-One and win $10,000 cash!
